It’s time once again for the WEB Holiday Celebration!
This is our time to gather and relax over good food and drink. Time for us to visit all evening without any real agenda except to have fun and relax.
We have an amazing menu planned!
Entre: Lasagna (GF noodles avail.), with garlic bread and a hearty garden salad. All GF with a choice of dressings.
Dessert: Assorted Puff Pastries, Bars & Tarts (GF options on separate tray)
Cold Beverages: Cucumber Water and Sweet Cinnamon Hibiscus
Hot Teas: 1 caffeine free and 1 seasonal favorite
Since this is a private event, we can bring in wine if we serve it ourselves.
Meal Cost: $16 at the door
Fun: Sue will be reading a few of her poems to get us into the holiday spirit.
We will be making ornaments for our annual gift bags for the participants of Life Work Planning Center.
Giving: In the spirit of the Holidays our tradition continues by filling lovely gift bags for 30 participants of the Life Work Planning Center. **We ask each member to seek out 30 specific items to have added to the bags. Budget for these items as you please. Individual bags of hot chocolate, travel size lotions, tissue packets, candies, socks, etc. Some have given small gift cards, packs of note paper, etc.
Items need to be dropped off at the Wow Zone or at Nancy’s home (923 Range St) no later than December 13th. Preferably the Wow Zone but Nancy’s place is an alternative if your schedule does not match up with Wow Zone hours. The date is a true deadline as we are packing the bags on the 14th for distribution on the 15. Please speak up if this presents a challenge due to distance/work schedule, etc.
Final request from the planners of this lovely gifting… We would really like to have you drop a note (via email or text) what you choose to put in the bags so the committee can see if anything needs to be added before we complete the bags and deliver on the 15th.
With all that you are holding in your hearts and on your shoulders this year, WEB wants to make this coming holiday season a moment of light for each of you.
